The Royal Oak Farmers Market is conveniently located in downtown Royal Oak, Michigan at 316 E. 11 Mile Road. The site can be easily accessed via both 696 and I-75. 

The Royal Oak Farmers Market is a 23,000 square foot air-conditioned building. During the event, free parking is available in the east and south lots of the Market. The west lot will be closed off to allow for outdoor expansion of the event.

​The Royal Oak Farmers Market opened as a truck market, at the corner of 4th and Troy streets, on October 14, 1925 as a cooperative venture between the then-new City of Royal Oak and Oakland County, Michigan. The present structure was erected in the spring of 1927 and dedicated July 1 of that year. Since 1997 the Farmers Market has been solely owned and operated by the City of Royal Oak.  It has been a popular institution for more than 90 years
